Lucinda Bueti visits Ingle Farm East Primary School

Lucinda Bueti visited Ingle Farm East Primary School on Wednesday 27 August to share her love of being active and to tell her incredible story about becoming a national wheelchair basketballer.
As Josh Debattista, PE Teacher said, “…what an absolutely amazing visit! I have had so many staff and students tell me how great that was… Again, thank you from the whole of Ingle Farm East Primary School!”
Lucinda spoke about her amputation and how she has embraced her new life including becoming a Glider – an Australian women’s basketball player.
Lucinda shared her incredible story and showed off her purpose-built chair and her amazing leg!

I think it was really cool that even after getting hurt, she came back and did basketball so well – Ruby – Year 6

She was sooooo amazing and I loved her robot leg – Isabella – Year 2
