Solly Bushby visits Tintinara Area School

Solly Bushby visited Tintinara Area School on Thursday 14 August to share his love of being active and to tell his incredible story about becoming a national beach volleyball player. The audience of students, teachers and parents particularly enjoyed his retelling of how he dealt with being told, as a 14 year old, he was not talented enough to make a high level volleyballer. Solly shared the 4 habits that helped him succeed when others thought he wouldn’t.

Georgie – Year 6 student “I thought it was courageous of Solly because the coaches were really rude to him, but he didn’t care and he just overcame it all and look how far he’s come now.”
