Jeremy Beale visits Parafield Gardens Primary School

Our school had the pleasure of hosting talented rower, Jeremy Beale, to our school for a Premiers Be Active Challenge ambassador visit.

Jeremy talked to us about the journey he has taken to get to an elite level of rowing, where he is soon to be competing for Australia in the World Championships.

Jeremy spoke about being determined, hardworking and never giving up on your dreams and goals – a message that many of our students will always remember.

Students were amazed at the early morning training hours that Jeremey does and were thrilled to hear that all of his work has paid off and soon he will be living in America to row and study.

We loved looking at Jeremy’s photos while he was telling us his story and were so excited to see him row on his rowing machine.  Staff and students joined in with the rowing – it was a lot harder then it looked but it was lots of fun!

Thank you Jeremy!  What an awesome inspiration you are to us all.  We wish you all the best for your upcoming competitions and your move to America.
