Laura Hingston - Diving
Laura is an Australian 10m platform diver, but that was not always the case. Previously an elite gymnast, she transferred to Diving after having career ending back surgery.
Now, Laura is a member of the National Diving Team and competes in both the 10m Individual and Synchronised events. She regularly competes at major national and international competitions, including the World Championships, World Series and Grand Prix events.
Away from the pool, Laura has a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and hopes to host and commentate at the major sporting events one day.
She is passionate about giving back to her community and being a good role model to those around her. Regularly presenting to schools and businesses, inspiring people to find their purpose, get active and follow their dreams.
“Finding an activity you love and surrounding yourself with like minded people is the key to living a healthy and active lifestyle”!
